My Wonderful Blunderful Life

October 17, 2015

Carasblogphoto-11I am a wife and Mother of two. My children are 4 years (Bug) and 2 years (Little Bear) old. My background is in Early childhood education and I have worked in the field off and on since my graduation from the University of Minnesota 5 years ago. I am currently a stay at home mom and my husband (Patrick) works 2nd shift at a local factory.

My life is raw, messy and real. I plan on sharing all of that… within reason though, I don’t think I’ll share much on my primal unproductive days when putting on a bra and feeding my children were my largest accomplishments. but my ultimate goal is to be relatable.

My family recently moved out of our small 800 sq ft house and moved into my parent’s much larger basement apartment about 1 year ago. We hope to sell the house very soon and are completely lost and confused also to what our future holds.. Having a larger space offers a lot of opportunities but also is a major adjustment for our little family.
I wanted to create this blog because I wanted to find my voice as a woman, a wife, a mother and teacher. Sometimes I get so caught up in motherhood I forget there is more to me then rearing these little monsters and I’m hoping this blog will help me and others find our voice within and outside of motherhood.

Check out my about page to learn more about me.

I totally want to hear about the “primal unproductive” days. Pretty please?! I think we all can relate.
